A retention basin is an underground water tank that provides a complete solution for storm water storage and use. The main purpose for which retention basins are used is to capture rainwater from gutters and return it to the surrounding soil at the point of impact.
The captured water in the retention tank can also be used for other household needs thanks to the so-called “recycling” of rainwater. In many cases, recycled water can easily replace drinking water, saving households money and the environment. The most common use in households is for flushing toilets, washing in the washing machine or for watering gardens.
The storage tank can also be used to regulate storm water run-off from the property where required by regulations.
The retention tank can be equipped with 3 available rainwater pumping technologies:
Garden system
The system includes a domestic water station with a pressure switch for pumping water, so you do not need to start the pump when irrigating, just open the garden valve and you can irrigate. The pump is protected by an electronic circuit against dry-run. The outlet from the tank is lockable and drainable for the winter. The system is easy to dismantle and can be easily cleaned before winter.
The entire system is located in a separate section next to the tank inlet, so it needs no additional space and everything is in the tank.
The entire unit is reliable, compact, easy to install and ready for immediate use.
The system can also be combined with automatic irrigation.

Home system
For pumping water, the system includes a submersible domestic waterworks with a pressure switch function. The system also includes automatic potable (or well) water recharge – this process works automatically and only recharges the operating minimum until the tank is full of rainwater again. There is also a special basket in the tank to catch coarse dirt.
The system is also equipped with a level sensor to prevent the pump from running idle in the event of a drinking water outage.
This system can be used for both a house and small garden. It cannot be combined with automatic irrigation.

Combi system house garden
For pumping water, the system includes a compact booster home waterworks, which guarantees constant pressure (pressure range adjustment from 1 bar to 7 bar). It also features frequency inverter technology to achieve energy savings. The pump is equipped with a high-resolution LCD display that shows the amount of water pumped or the number of hours in operation and other information. The system also includes automatic potable (or well) water supply. This process works automatically and always allows only the operating minimum until the tank is full of rainwater again.
There is also a special basket in the tank to catch coarse dirt.
The system is also equipped with a level sensor to prevent the pump from running empty in the event of a drinking water outage.
The entire system is located in a separate area next to the tank inlet, so it needs no additional space and everything is above the tank. The system is insulated against freezing and includes an insulated lid.
This system is designed for a house with a large garden (or for a small apartment building). It can be combined with automatic irrigation.
